Approved Programs of Study

The University of Arkansas-Fayetteville has 10 colleges and schools offering more than 200 academic programs, including bachelor’s degrees in 75 areas of study.  The UA maintains a low student-to-faculty ratio of 19:1 that promotes personal attention and mentoring opportunities.  We are a student-centered, state-supported, research university at the forefront of discovery and committed to enriching the global community.

Note:  Sponsored students are not allowed by immigration to pursue online-only degree programs in the U.S. and must have written sponsor approval or online course Financial Guarantee on file with our office before enrolling in any on-line course taken here at the UA.  The online course must fulfill degree requirements.  Sponsored students must meet all sponsor and academic program requirements for degree completion.    

 

Approved Programs of Study for Undergraduate Students

Most, but not all academic degree-track programs at the undergraduate level are approved for study.  Undergraduate international students should not apply for the Bachelor’s in Nursing program.  Contact our Sponsored Students and Special Programs office at uassp@uark.edu with any questions. 

 

Approved Programs of Study for Graduate Students

Some graduate-level degree programs offer conditional admission for international students.  Graduate-level degree programs offering consideration for conditional admission require international applicants meet all academic requirements and minimums upon application; however, they may consider international students who do not yet have proof of English proficiency and official GRE scores.  Departments have final say over all their application, admission, and degree requirements.
